Ok it is the first big weekend of the year for the club when we promote the annual Black Park XC races with some great prizes provided by Beyond/The Feed station and Dirt Divas.
Still a few club members that have not entered yet only a day to go if you want to claim your club discount,forms are on the download section of the site. At the end of the day we will be having team photo so make sure you stay around and bring your cameras.A reminder of race times

Another week of bad weather to test everyone's resolve but once again there were still some rides happening,I only managed the Sat training which this week saw a good turnout, not sure about Sun as I was working but don't expect there was a great turnout as it was chucking it down in the morning, hopefully we are going to see a change soon and the tracks will dry up in time for our race at Black Park

Ok, firstly the club kit order is going in, after today anyone who has not ordered by the end of the night will have to rely on the spare kit we have ordered.If you have left it late post up on the forum or even better send Gill an e -mail pronto.
Despite the really naf weather (surely it is not just me who is fed up cleaning bikes/kit after every ride) there has been good turnouts for the cub rides. This weekend there was quite a few people out on both the Saturday training ride ... [read more]

There was some good results on the racing front this weekend in the Gorrick MTB event, it was difficult to decide whose ride was the best , Werners 9th in supermasters or Steve Tebbetts 6th in a competitive sports race, other results included 8th for Jon Pierce in the vets race as he made a welcome return to racing after his injury woes of last year, other results were Roy S,15th open event and Steve Brown 30th supermasters.The next round is on March 7th a week before our own Black Park XC race ... The only racing news this week is another great result for Colin as he took 4th in the veterans class of the final round of the Merrel Mudman on what was apparently a muddy Pipingford course. On the riding front there were a number of rides over the week all well supported, Wednesdays MTB night ride saw I think if I remember correctly 8 out for a jaunt over to Black Park, Thursday saw a few from the club at the road training session at Hillingdon, then Saturdays MTB training had another big turn...
